Overview
As Regional Projects Manager – Central Europe, you lead a portfolio of CAPEX projects across multiple sites in the region, ensuring safe, on-time, on-budget delivery. You guide project governance, stakeholder engagement, and cross-country collaboration to transform business priorities into high-impact investments. You manage a team of project managers and external partners, driving continuous improvement and alignment with site leadership and operations. This role offers broad international scope and a chance to shape manufacturing capital programs with engineering excellence and safety at the core.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Oversee a portfolio of CAPEX projects across multiple sites in Central Europe
- Ensure delivery is safe, on time, within budget, and meets scope and quality expectations
- Drive engineering project execution across several manufacturing sites
- Manage project risks, resources, timelines, and stakeholder expectations
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Project Managers and external contractors
- Provide governance to ensure consistent project execution
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Partner with Operations, OPEX, Global CAPEX, Engineering, Procurement, and Site Leadership to align business cases and investment proposals
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related discipline
- Extensive experience managing CAPEX projects in manufacturing, industrial, chemical, food, pharmaceutical, or similar regulated environments
- Strong track record delivering complex engineering projects and capital investments
- People leadership experience including coaching and developing Project Managers
- Knowledge of project governance, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and contractor management
- Experience working across multiple European countries and stakeholders
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on project execution
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
