Overview
In this role you will support a strong financial control environment for a growing solar energy company. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, and contribute to governance processes. You will drive improvement through scalable, compliant financial processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This position offers hybrid work options and a path to contribute to the company’s evolving financial governance. You will work closely with the Head of Finance to support management reporting and external audits.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Maintain and review accurate financial records including accruals, prepayments, depreciation and amortisation, and intercompany transactions
- Perform monthly financial reviews and balance sheet reconciliations with documentation ready by business day 10
- Coordinate monthly consolidation and provide management reporting with sub-consolidations where needed
- Maintain entity-level and group consolidation processes and ensure consistent ledger principles across jurisdictions
- Prepare group consolidations per IFRS or local GAAP and develop shadow IFRS reporting when required
- Coordinate external audit process and liaise with group auditors for Dutch annual audit
- Prepare statutory financial statements for entities and consolidated accounts according to local requirements
- Review finance policies and controls for consistent application across the organisation
- Support finance-related analyses and management reporting for internal stakeholders
Belangrijkste vereisten
- ACCA or equivalent professional certification
- Approximately 5-6 years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP and local taxation requirements
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Proactive, flexible, and collaborative
- Strong IT skills with MS Office/Microsoft 365; NetSuite experience is a plus
- Fluent in English; Dutch preferred
