Overview
In this role you drive rapid resolution of data center blockers and stakeholder concerns, shaping scalable playbooks and automated tooling for the Server Operations team. You design and refine internal tools to streamline issue management and partner with engineering and operations to fix root causes. You will manage cross-functional projects and participate in on-call rotations, contributing to operational excellence and cost savings. This position offers the chance to influence how Google Cloud scales incident response across global data centers and customers.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Diagnose and troubleshoot data center blockers and stakeholder concerns to enable swift resolution
- Design and iterate internal tools, software, and automated frameworks for issue management lifecycle
- Create standardized technical playbooks and processes for autonomous issue handling
- Collaborate with Engineering and Server Operations to identify and fix root causes of negative business outcomes
- Manage project schedules and timelines; engage cross-functional partners; participate in weekend on-call duties or shift rotations
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
- 2 years of experience troubleshooting and advocating for customers’ needs and triaging technical issues (hardware, software, applications, operations, processes)
- Experience reading code in a general-purpose language or in system design (e.g., Java, C, C++, Python, Shell, Go, JavaScript)
