Overview
In this senior role you drive regulatory compliance for major offshore projects, notably FPSOs, coordinating with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and operations. You act as the main liaison with authorities and classification societies to secure approvals and certifications. You’ll manage regulatory risk, oversee documentation, and ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle. This position offers visa support, hybrid work, and a contract-based opportunity to shape offshore delivery.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Develop and maintain the Project Regulatory Management Plan outlining applicable laws, standards and certification needs
- Coordinate regulatory compliance across engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning phases
- Serve as the primary contact for regulators, authorities, classification societies and contractors on regulatory matters
- Ensure regulatory requirements are understood and integrated into project activities by cross-functional teams
- Monitor regulatory actions, inspections, audits and surveys; address findings and close actions
- Verify all regulatory approvals and certifications are in place before delivery
- Assess regulatory changes and their impact on the project; manage related queries
- Coordinate and supervise Regulatory Engineers, Site Engineers and Inspectors
- Prepare regulatory documentation and handover packages for operations, maintaining permits and certifications
- Provide regular updates on progress, risks and compliance status to project management
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline
- Approximately 10 years' offshore oil & gas experience
- Experience managing regulatory compliance on major offshore projects (offshore, FPSO, EPCI)
- Strong knowledge of offshore legislation, approvals, classification and certification processes
- Experience working with multidisciplinary project teams
- Experience liaising with clients, regulators, classification societies and contractors
- Strong project coordination, communication and stakeholder management
- Fluent in written and spoken English
