Overview
In this role you ensure the plant’s IT foundation is stable, secure, and scalable, acting as the on-site infrastructure expert for The Blender in Rotterdam. You’ll own day-to-day operations, lead tier-3 incident response, and drive deployments in collaboration with OT and automation teams. You’ll partner across the business to streamline infrastructure workflows and help translate strategy into practical improvements that minimize downtime. This role offers hands-on impact with cross-functional exposure in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Own day-to-day IT infrastructure operations at The Blender site
- Act as on-site subject matter expert for IT infrastructure in collaboration with Automation, Engineering & Deskside Support
- Proactively monitor, maintain and optimize plant core IT infrastructure to reduce downtime
- Coordinate with on-site OT leadership and automation teams to streamline workflows
- Lead deployment efforts and communicate changes clearly to stakeholders and vendors
- Contribute to infrastructure roadmaps to support growth across the estate
- Lead IT infrastructure incident response and root-cause analysis for plant-impacting issues
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Hands-on infrastructure experience, ideally in manufacturing/OT environments
- Windows Server and VMware administration expertise
- Strong networking foundations (VLANs, IP, firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi) with OT/ICS segmentation exposure
- Active Directory, Entra ID, and Microsoft cloud platforms
- Experience with Microsoft Azure & Entra administration; multi-site, on-prem deployments
- Track record of managing third-party vendor relationships
- Sharp troubleshooting and documentation discipline
