Overview
In this role you will lead and grow three back-office engineering teams within the connectivity domain, ensuring high-quality delivery and continuous growth. You will work with a peers group of Engineering Leads to align technical work with product goals and drive cross-team improvements. You’ll influence culture through servant leadership and foster blameless, sustainable engineering practices. This opportunity offers the chance to shape engineering excellence across multiple teams in a hybrid Rotterdam setting.

- Lead, coach and develop three engineering teams to high performance with a growth mindset
- Ensure predictable delivery while balancing speed with sustainable engineering practices
- Drive technical improvements and promote software best practices
- Simplify complex technical solutions and guide sound technical decisions
- Guide teams through change and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Align stakeholders across business and technology and drive cross-team technical alignment
- Collaborate with external technology partners and suppliers when needed
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Fluency in English
- Dutch and/or Spanish a plus
- Proven experience leading multiple engineering teams
- Experience with cross-functional product teams and with Product and Architecture stakeholders
- Strong skills in people leadership, coaching, stakeholder management and Agile delivery
- Strong communication and influencing skills, plus change management and lean problem-solving
