Overview
In this role you ensure accurate, timely global tax reporting and accounting for Boskalis. You will work at group level to support tax reporting, tax accounting and tax compliance feeding into financial reporting. You translate international business activity into reliable tax figures and robust reporting processes. You collaborate with Group Accounting, Reporting, Finance and local finance teams to improve data quality and internal controls. This is an opportunity to shape how we manage Pillar Two/GloBE, IAS/IFRIC positions and tax disclosures in a complex, project-driven maritime environment.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Coordinate and support quarterly and annual tax reporting, including current tax, deferred tax, ETR analysis and tax notes for consolidated financial statements
- Collaborate with local finance teams and external advisors to collect, validate and analyse tax data and ensure positions are reflected in the group reporting package
- Professionalise tax accounting processes, internal controls, reporting guidelines and documentation; support audits and Pillar Two reporting
- Analyse tax positions, disclosures and IFRIC/IAS12 positions; drive improvements in systems and data quality
- Translate international business activities into clear tax figures and robust reporting outputs
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Relevant higher professional education degree (HBO) or higher in accounting, finance, tax accounting or tax, with experience in tax reporting, tax accounting, audit or financial reporting in an international environment
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail with comfort working with financial data and reporting systems under deadlines
- Ambitious, eager to learn and willing to take responsibility in an international tax environment
- Proactive in process improvement, documentation, and transparent, efficient reporting
- Clear, professional communication in Dutch and English
- Affinity with tax accounting, financial reporting and the international maritime sector
