Overview
As Manufacturing Engineer Product & Planning, you will support an Integrated Product Team to ensure efficient production of landing gear components. You’ll analyze production characteristics, manage non-conformities, and define temporary production instructions, with a pathway toward NC approval. You’ll translate concepts into production-ready processes, driving quality and delivery targets in a multi-technology campus. This role offers hands-on problem solving, Lean optimization, and collaboration with global teams to advance aerospace manufacturing excellence.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Develop technical solutions for complex manufacturing challenges with a safety-first mindset
- Provide technical support for manufacturing development and integration in production
- Resolve vendor schedule and quality issues, using root cause analysis for corrective actions
- Manage tooling/production planning implementation from concept to production, ensuring process capability via ZDM tools
- Oversee product development, first article development, configuration changes, and build process definition
- Deliver measurable results aligned with Operational & Program goals
- Maintain strong relationships with internal/external customers and colleagues
- Drive continuous improvement of production processes through Lean initiatives
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 4+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience, preferably in aerospace or related fields
- Degree in a related Engineering discipline (Aerospace, Mechanical, Automotive)
- Ability to influence and build trust within a global organization
- Working knowledge of LEAN processes and practices
- Working knowledge of quality system models such as ISO9000, AS9100, or D1-9000
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- English fluency in writing and speaking
- Experience with machining (milling, mill-turn, boring, honing) and surface treatment processes (heat treatment, plating, shot-peen, NDI) would be advantageous
