Overview
In this role you partner with operations, commercial, and project teams to provide practical legal guidance across the full project lifecycle. You will support tendering, contract negotiations, project execution, and dispute resolution for international maritime and infrastructure projects. You will identify and mitigate legal and contractual risks while helping meet commercial objectives in a compliant, responsible manner. You’ll work with multiple divisions in a global, project-driven environment and engage in ongoing legal and regulatory developments to safeguard projects and company interests.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Provide legal support during prequalification and tender phases, reviewing tender documents
- Draft and review a broad range of commercial contracts
- Advise project teams on legal and contractual matters during project execution
- Support compliance and risk mitigation by raising contract awareness
- Manage and coordinate legal proceedings, including international arbitration and court cases
- Collaborate with staff departments and commercial teams to assess and mitigate risks
- Monitor developments in (inter)national legislation, case law, and emerging technologies including AI
- Ensure compliance with SHE-Q policies and contribute to improvement initiatives
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Master’s degree in law (EU-recognized)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably international law firm or international construction/shipping
- Knowledge of international construction and maritime contracts (FIDIC, LOGIC, NEC, IMCA, BIMCO) is preferred
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
- Willingness to travel and negotiate contracts abroad
