Overview
In this role you drive the capture and delivery of technology and infrastructure development for defence programmes in the EU, leading an IPT to move opportunities from RFP to contract award. You shape partnerships, pricing strategies, and execution plans to maximize win probability while ensuring sovereign capability development. You’ll coordinate across technical, commercial, and programme inputs and manage funding, investment, and workshare initiatives. This is a strategic, cross‑border leadership position at the forefront of aerospace innovation.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Develop and execute capture plans for vehicle integration, aerostructures, and additive structures to win EU sovereign programmes
- Lead creation and management of Campaign Plans with stakeholders and multi-year integrated business planning
- Build strategic partnerships and collaborate with governments, economic development agencies, and industry partners
- Oversee end-to-end capture activities (positioning, proposals, approvals) and manage capture budgets and KPIs
- Translate MOD requirements into production-ready industrial solutions (layouts, automation, tooling, digital manufacturing, supply chain, quality systems)
- Ensure risks, opportunities, and changes are controlled via PMO processes
- Manage transition from bids to programmes (planning, baselines, IPTs) and oversee funded programmes through execution
- Chair programme reviews and support PMRs with customers and partners
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Demonstrated experience leading complex capture campaigns in an international defence context
- Proven track record in leading technology, engineering development and manufacturing programmes
- Experience with transparent, aerostructures and additive manufacturing technologies
- EU Security Clearance at SC level essential
- Recognised degree in engineering, aerospace, manufacturing or related discipline
- Desirable: degree-level business/commercial qualification and Programme Management certification (e.g., IPMA)
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and cross-cultural communication skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional bid and integrated project teams
- Broad understanding of BD, sales, finance, commercial, programme management, engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing
