Overview
In this role, you will direct strategic sourcing and supplier management for key paper sub-segments within a global materials group. You’ll balance day-to-day operations with long-term strategy to optimize material costs, ensure supply, and drive innovation. You will lead a cross-regional community, partnering with regional procurement teams to align with global objectives. This is a high-impact, transformation-driven opportunity within a major procurement modernization program.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Develop and execute multi-year global sourcing strategies aligned to business goals
- Lead end-to-end tendering processes (RFx) and negotiate complex commercial agreements
- Cultivate strategic supplier partnerships and mitigate supply chain/geopolitical risks
- Foster the unified One Global Materials Group mindset across a global matrix organization
- Manage AOP forecasting, cost modeling, and index management while ensuring sustainability compliance
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 10+ years in strategic sourcing, purchasing, or category management with responsibility for material cost results
- 5+ years of managerial/leadership experience in a global matrix organization
- Bachelor in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering (or equivalent)
- English fluency; Mandarin is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Influence across cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Strategic thinking and stakeholder management
