Overview
As Senior Financial Accountant at Planon, you will own accurate financial reporting in a dynamic, international setting. You will lead the group’s tax processes across multiple jurisdictions and support monthly closing, compliance, and group reporting. The role blends hands-on execution with process controls and continuous improvement, working with Accounting & Control and external advisors. You will challenge and refine financial processes while enabling timely tax compliance and documentation. Verantwoordelijkheden
- Execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities, including revenue recognition
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations ensuring data accuracy and group standard compliance
- Prepare monthly financial results for group reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Analyze variances and provide insights to management
- Support statutory and internal audits and ensure timely, documented controls
- Act as first point of contact for operational tax matters and meet local filing obligations
- Identify and support improvements in accounting processes, controls, standardization, and efficiency, including AI-driven innovations
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Relevant experience in Finance and/or Tax
- Affinity with technology, automation, and AI-driven tools in finance operations
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (Dutch GAAP; IFRS is a plus)
- Affinity with or experience in SaaS and services-based business models is a plus
- Proactive, communicative, solution-oriented mindset
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a bonus
