Overview
As a Design Manager for MCF/Data Centres, you drive integrated building design for demanding clients in a global practice. You oversee scope, budget and contract documents, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams and external partners to deliver high-quality, BIM-enabled solutions. You lead design challenges, push innovative ideas, and help optimize internal processes across borders. This role combines client-facing leadership with hands-on technical delivery in a fast-growing data centre market.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Manage scope-of-work, design budget and contract documents for each project
- Follow and update design delivery schedule and distribute workload within team
- Coordinate and optimize design with multi-disciplinary team and external parties
- Lead and challenge design solutions and changes
- Create and communicate innovative ideas and designs to client and team
- Contribute to optimization of internal processes and knowledge sharing
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Master in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Over 5 years of experience managing multidisciplinary design, engineering, and construction projects (preferably data centres)
- Affinity with digital and automated design/engineering processes (BIM360, CDE)
- Knowledge of standard practices in design and construction industry, and understanding of clients' daily operations
- Excellent communication skills towards colleagues and clients; fluent in English; Dutch and/or German preferred
