Overview
Join the MongoDB Query Execution Team to help build a high-performance, modular distributed query system. You will contribute C++ code, participate in code reviews, and design features to boost query performance, robustness, and language capabilities. Collaborate with peers to deliver solid technical solutions that power critical workloads. Verantwoordelijkheden
- Understand and improve current MongoDB query engine functionality
- Contribute high-quality C++ code and participate in code reviews
- Identify, design, implement, test, and support new features for performance, robustness, language enhancements, diagnostics, and integration with other products
- Collaborate constructively with peers to deliver technical solutions
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 5+ years of experience in systems programming
- Experience with large code bases in C++, C, Rust or similar compiled language
- B.Sc in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Interest in database query engines; hands-on software development
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and software design/architecture
- Experience in databases and/or data management systems is a plus
- M Sc/PhD in domain is a plus
