Overview
In this role, you will lead QA/QC for a major hyperscale data centre project in Amsterdam, ensuring compliance with regulatory, client, and project specs. You will oversee inspections, testing, and handover deliverables, and coordinate commissioning with internal and external stakeholders. The position requires strong technical expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage documentation in a fast-paced construction environment. Verantwoordelijkheden
- Prepare handover inspection and testing documentation (O&M manuals)
- Coordinate commissioning activities for electrical systems with internal and external teams
- Review inspection and test documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Oversee final handover packages to the client
- Ensure electrical works meet regulatory standards and client specs
- Conduct regular quality inspections and manage defect closeout
- supervise and verify testing procedures and documentation
- Liaise with construction management, subcontractors, and clients on installation and quality matters
- Attend quality-focused meetings and contribute technical input
- Contribute to weekly progress reports highlighting quality activities and issues
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Electrical Trade background and/or 3rd-level qualification in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
- Minimum 8+ years in a similar QA/QC or electrical quality role on large-scale construction projects
- Strong understanding of electrical installation and commissioning processes
- Excellent attention to detail with strong planning and organizational skills
- Self-management, prioritization, and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities for team management and stakeholder coordination
- Previous data centre experience is highly desirable
