As Distribution Area Lead you will elevate hub-level operations across the Netherlands to improve safety, service quality, and efficiency. You will coach Hub Leads and Runners, align on distribution strategies, and drive cross-site improvements in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment. You’ll work closely with on-site teams and the Amsterdam office to translate insights into action, shaping scalable, reliable last-mile performance. This role offers hands-on leadership across multiple hubs, with a clear impact on customer experience and team well-being through data-driven change.

- Spot, mentor, and grow operations leaders at Hub locations
- Coach Runners, Runner+, and Hub Leads to meet safety, service quality, and efficiency targets
- Drive daily hub operational improvements by identifying performance and customer experience drivers
- Translate feedback into concrete actions and guide teams from startup phase to high performance
- Maintain understanding of distribution strategies, systems, logistics processes, and equipment
- Coach and support multiple Hubs through frequent on-site visits and performance follow-up
- Collaborate with hubs, Amsterdam office, and remote settings for alignment
- Continuously improve processes with a data-driven approach in a fast-paced environment
- Navigate rapid company growth with an entrepreneurial mindset to build the future of retail
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Bachelor or Master degree
- 3-6 years of leadership experience, preferably in logistics, e-commerce, or hospitality
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Curious, mature, confident to coach and intervene
- Strong people and process focus
- Hands-on, flexible, and action-oriented
- Result-driven with a drive to disrupt grocery shopping
- Willingness to travel between hubs
