Overview
In this role you will lead global logistics and distribution networks to enable compliant, cost-efficient product movement across manufacturing plants, DCs, and 3PLs. You will drive end-to-end operational improvements, standardize processes, and champion DBS-based transformation across a global network. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to improve delivery performance and customer experience. This is a high-impact role at Cytiva, shaping how life-sciences products reach customers and patients. Verantwoordelijkheden
- Shape and execute enterprise logistics and distribution strategies across company-run and 3PL-managed centers
- Lead large, complex, high-velocity distribution operations (10,000+ SKUs) delivering service and productivity gains
- Provide strategic oversight of global transportation operations (inbound, outbound, international, intercompany)
- Champion continuous improvement and standardization of processes, metrics, reporting, and best practices
- Lead global, matrixed teams through complexity and change during structural, digital, and operating-model transformations
- Manage global 3PL and carrier performance to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Drive distribution process optimization, digitalization, and sustainability initiatives linked to DBS
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration, logistics, or a related field
- 15+ years of progressive experience in logistics, distribution, and transportation operations
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Hands-on experience leading global logistics networks including air/ocean freight, multi-modal transportation, customs and compliance
- Operating expense budget ownership at or above $100M with P&L accountability
- Strong partnership skills for negotiating and managing sophisticated 3PL and carrier contracts
- International team leadership across time zones and cultures with significant autonomy
