Overview
In this role you will provide technical support to ESA space programmes across stages from planning to implementation. You will act as a technical expert in design reviews, analyses, and safety activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will identify development issues, contribute to reports, and support critical reviews and investigations. The position offers exposure to European space programmes and a dynamic, international environment. You will help shape spacecraft and subsystems while upholding safety and quality standards.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Provide technical support to ESA space programmes across phases from 0 to E, including design reviews and technical assessments
- Review industry proposals during ITT processes as an external technical expert
- Contribute to CDF studies with engineering assessment and information for reports
- Identify critical development problems and assist in resolution
- Support design follow-up, cross-analyses, and organization of design reviews
- Perform analyses to support development of materials, equipment, subsystems
- Participate as a technical expert in failure/NCR investigations and NRBs
- Engage in technical meetings, workshops, and working groups as required
- Participate as a technical expert in safety panel meetings and ISS payload safety reviews
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Master’s in engineering
- 4 years of experience in space mechanisms
- Experience with ESA projects is a big advantage
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
