Overview
We are seeking experienced finance/accounting professionals to join the Account Management team. You will partner with clients and internal staff to develop project budgets and new business proposals. You’ll work directly with clients on strategic budget development to align client needs with Medpace’s objectives. This role offers impact by shaping budgets, ensuring bids meet requirements, and fostering client partnerships within a scientific, cross-functional environment.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Develop fee estimates for RFPs, budget revisions, and contract amendments
- Provide financial input for RFIs and coordinate with relevant Medpace personnel
- Understand customer business, pipeline, and opportunities to approach confidently
- Ensure bids align with customer expectations and requirements
- Maintain knowledge of Medpace bid process and verify consistency of fee estimates and proposal assumptions
- Communicate with customers on ongoing projects to meet expectations
- Track project performance against budget and flag potential issues or changes
- Review invoices and financial reports prior to sponsor receipt
- Build relationships within the customer organization to generate new business opportunities
- Generate new contracts and monitor scope, milestone invoicing, and modifications with coordination
- Maintain and modify bid preparation templates and boilerplate text
- May handle additional projects and responsibilities
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business or Accounting
- 3+ years of experience in clinical research and/or contract management/pricing
- Strong working knowledge of financial and accounting processes
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and drug development services
- Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills
- Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel
