Overview
As Lead Software Engineer at Lely, you guide a growing software team and shape how they work and develop. You’ll balance people leadership with technical improvement, partnering with Product Owners, Architects, and UX to enable effective delivery. You help create a safe, ownership-driven environment while aligning priorities for impact across the software organization. This role offers influence over team growth, engineering practices, and cross-functional collaboration in a mission-driven, innovative setting.

- Lead and develop a team of software engineers through one-on-ones, feedback, performance and development conversations
- Foster an environment where team members feel safe to own ideas and push beyond their comfort zones
- Apply your software engineering background to diagnose technical challenges and elevate engineering practices
- Balance people, technical, and delivery priorities to maximize value
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Software Architects, UX and other disciplines to align priorities and enable effective delivery
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the wider software organization
