Overview
In this role you lead a team of 10 verification engineers to ensure complex mechatronic products are reliable and production-ready. You bridge mechanics, electronics and software, coordinating with product developers and other stakeholders to base decisions on solid test results. You shape verification strategies and oversee risk analyses to drive high-quality releases. The position blends hands-on technical work with leadership in a fast-evolving agricultural tech environment, contributing to sustainable farming solutions.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Lead and develop a team of 10 verification engineers and support their growth
- Allocate team members to projects in consultation with project managers
- Develop and oversee test strategies and verification testing methodologies
- Initiate and review risk analyses, test plans and results; translate findings into concrete recommendations
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical and embedded software teams to solve complex challenges
- Utilize risk analyses, requirements reviews, and root cause analyses to provide targeted advice
- Advance the verification approach for integration testing and strengthen collaboration with System Engineering
- Contribute to product release decisions with emphasis on quality and reliability
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Broad technical perspective in mechatronics and leadership experience
- Experience with research, verification, validation and testing in product development
- At least 2 years of team leadership experience
- Ability to work across mechanics, electronics and software
- Structured, analytical thinking with big-picture and detail orientation
- Familiarity with V-model and FMEA
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proficiency in English; Dutch a plus or willingness to learn
- Interest in farming and experience in reliability engineering is advantageous
