Overview
In this senior leadership role, you define the strategic direction for integrated testing and verification within Lely’s Product Development landscape. You lead the Competence Center and shape its growth, capabilities and ways of working while collaborating with business teams to align roadmaps, technology initiatives and resource allocation. You translate emerging technologies into opportunities for innovation and ensure quality, compliance and knowledge sharing across projects and products. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on leadership to raise product quality and accelerate impactful innovation.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Define and implement the strategic vision for Integrated Testing and Verification, aligned with the Product Development strategy
- Lead and develop the Competence Center, focusing on talent development, performance, recruitment, and learning and development
- Strengthen cross-functional collaboration to align roadmaps, technology initiatives, project requirements and resource allocation
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement by tracking technologies, tools and industry trends and translating them into opportunities
- Ensure knowledge development, lifecycle management and technical documentation at project/product/competence level, compliant with legislation and quality standards
- Oversee strategic workforce planning, resource allocation and the Competence Center budget; build external partnerships to strengthen capabilities
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Master’s degree in a relevant technical field
- Around 10 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Strong leadership skills with experience developing teams and establishing effective management structures
- Ability to develop a strategic vision and translate it into concrete plans
- In-depth technical knowledge of the field, including industry standards and quality requirements
- Experience working across functions and coordinating cross-functional teams
- Strong coaching skills enabling team leads to develop their leadership capabilities
- Experience with resource planning, budgeting and balancing capacity with objectives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset
- Ability to foster a safe, open work environment with feedback, collaboration and high standards
