Overview
In this role you will help maintain SWIFT's operational network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and secure performance. You will work within the CMC Infrastructure team to monitor health, diagnose issues, and implement improvements that keep the global messaging network reliable. The position offers collaboration with cross-functional teams and opportunities to influence security and scalability decisions. This is a hands-on role with a clear impact on day-to-day network reliability and customer support. You will contribute to a multinational, evolving environment focused on trust, precision, and continuous improvement.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Perform day-to-day network health and performance data collection and analysis
- Diagnose issues, manage error logs, and monitor bandwidth and link utilization
- Assist in troubleshooting complex problems and drive to permanent resolution
- Provide support to the Customer Support department during problem investigations
- Review problem situations to identify process, procedure, or tool improvements
- Implement configuration changes and new installations
- Willingness to work weekend daytime shifts
Belangrijkste vereisten
- HBO level in IT
- Work experience as a Network and System Engineer is preferable
- Good knowledge of UNIX/LINUX
- Good knowledge of Juniper SRX is a big plus
- Knowledge/experience with Fortinet firewalls, Cisco and F5/BIGIP, Elastic and Kibana, and Python scripting is a preference
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
