As Senior Internal Audit Consultant, you will deliver financial and operational assurance across EMEA & APO using analytics and AI-enabled workflows. You help shape Internal Audit by integrating technology-driven approaches, from data extraction to risk-based testing, across the control environment. You work with cross-functional stakeholders to identify improvements that reduce risk and cost, while maintaining audit quality. This role offers broad exposure, international scope, and the chance to drive innovative audit methods. Verantwoordelijkheden
- Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of financial and operational controls per IIA standards using data-driven, risk-based approaches
- Design, build, and maintain end-to-end analytics and automation (SQL, Python, BI) for continuous auditing and full-population testing
- Apply generative and agentic AI to accelerate risk assessment, analysis, and report drafting with appropriate human oversight
- Assess controls across traditional and AI-enabled processes, including data quality, governance, access, and third-party AI risk
- Collaborate with stakeholders to propose value-added process improvements and embed automated controls during redesign and system transformations
- Optimize Internal Control Framework alignment of risks to controls and enable efficient testing via automation
- Handle special projects (post-acquisition reviews, investigations) using forensic analytics where appropriate
- Prepare clear, insight-led audit reports and dashboards, focusing on root cause and forward-looking risk
- Identify opportunities to improve audit methodology, tooling, and reusable analytics assets
- Travel to regional offices, laboratories, and sites as needed (less than 15%)
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 5+ years in public accounting, corporate Internal Audit, or equivalent finance/data/transformation role with SOX experience
- Proven end-to-end analytics experience using SQL and Python, plus BI tool (Power BI) and strong Excel skills
- Practical experience with generative AI tools and governance considerations
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP and standard business processes (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report)
- Strong critical thinking, professional skepticism, and ability to form pragmatic conclusions from complex data
- Clear communication and collaboration skills; English proficiency essential
- Effective time management and ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
