Overview
In this field-based Medical Science Liaison role, you will partner with healthcare professionals across the Netherlands to advance scientific exchange and medical strategy in dermatology. You will build trusted relationships with external experts, deliver non-promotional medical education, and contribute to evidence generation and strategic medical plans. You will work with cross-functional teams, leverage digital and analytics tools, and ensure compliance with regulations. Verantwoordelijkheden
- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and other external scientific stakeholders
- Lead scientific discussions and translate complex clinical data into clear, balanced insights
- Deliver non-promotional medical education via meetings, advisory boards, congresses, and other engagements
- Gather and share insights on clinical practice, unmet needs, treatment trends, and patient journeys to inform medical and business strategy
- Identify evidence gaps and support evidence-generation activities, including collaborations with investigators
- Serve as a scientific partner to cross-functional teams contributing to medical plans and launch readiness
- Leverage digital, CRM, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to optimise engagement and insight generation
- Support internal capability building through scientific training and knowledge sharing
- Ensure all activities comply with healthcare regulations, pharmacovigilance, data privacy, and Takeda policies
Belangrijkste vereisten
- MSc in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related scientific discipline (MD, PharmD, or PhD preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Medical Affairs, MSL, Clinical Research, or similar field-based role
- Strong understanding of clinical research methodologies, study design, and data interpretation
- Experience building productive relationships with healthcare professionals and scientific stakeholders
- Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional and matrix organisations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate science into insights
- Strong analytical thinking and a patient-focused mindset
- Experience using digital tools, CRM systems, data analytics platforms, or omnichannel engagement approaches
- Fluent in English and Dutch
