Overview
In this role you blend microwave design with tooling and automation to support and strengthen the development environment. You work within the Radar Frontend Engineering team to advance microwave components while improving tooling, libraries, and workflows. You will automate engineering tasks, explore new features, and contribute to AI-enabled tooling, shaping reliable, efficient engineering processes. Verantwoordelijkheden
- Maintain and enhance the development environment with ADS, Momentum, HFSS, GitLab, Matlab, and VSCode
- Build and expand measured component libraries for ADS
- Support colleagues in tool and software usage
- Explore and adopt new tooling features and automation opportunities
- Automate engineering workflows using scripting (Linux, Python, Git, AEL)
- Contribute to microwave design, development and optimization of components and solutions
- Support ongoing projects, test and iterate designs to improve performance
- Participate in the gradual adoption of AI within tooling and support activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to advance microwave engineering projects
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Sciences
- Affinity with microwave engineering or RF development
- Experience with or strong interest in tooling and automation
- Knowledge of Linux
- Experience with scripting (Python and/or Unix scripting)
- Interest in software tools: ADS, Momentum, HFSS, Matlab, VSCode, GitLab
- Motivation to support colleagues and share knowledge
- Practical, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset
- Strong communication and collaborative attitude
