Overview
As a Solution Architect, you will design integrated electro-mechanical systems and lead system-level solutions for automation, robotics, and smart manufacturing. You will collaborate across disciplines to ensure seamless integration and successful delivery, selecting key components and defining architecture and specs for compliance. You will implement Industrial IoT and cloud-based monitoring and predictive maintenance, driving proofs-of-concept and Industry 4.0 innovations. This role offers impact across industrial automation and sustainable manufacturing at Delta.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Design integrated electro-mechanical systems combining hardware, firmware and software
- Develop system-level solutions for automation, robotics, and smart industrial equipment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless system integration
- Select and integrate sensors, actuators, motors, PLCs, and embedded controllers
- Define system architecture, specifications, and documentation while ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC/UL/CE
- Implement and optimize Industrial IoT and cloud-based solutions for monitoring and maintenance
- Lead proof-of-concept developments, optimize performance through testing and validation, drive Industry 4.0 innovation
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Bachelor in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related field; minimum 7 years in industrial automation, robotics, or electro-mechanical design
- Strong knowledge of electro-mechanical integration, PLC/SCADA/DCS, embedded systems, and real-time control
- Experience with motion control, power electronics, Industrial IoT, cloud platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT), and industrial protocols (PROFINET, Modbus, CAN, EtherNet/IP)
- Familiarity with CAD and simulation tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS, COMSOL)
- Understanding of industrial cybersecurity standards (IEC 62443, NIST, ISO 27001)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams with hands-on troubleshooting and continuous improvement
