Overview
In this role you will provide expert product support and help shape product management for Delta’s automation portfolio. You will work with PLCs, servo drives, and motion controllers to diagnose and resolve customer issues, both remotely and on-site, and lead training and documentation efforts. You will collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, sales, and service teams to ensure high-quality, integrated solutions. The role offers exposure to an international, customer-focused environment and the opportunity to influence smart manufacturing and energy-saving initiatives at scale.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Provide product support and assist in product management for automation products (PLC, HMI, SCADA, field devices)
- Resolve customer technical questions via ticket system and on-site support (metering, network, debugging)
- Conduct product tests as directed by PMM
- Create training materials (PPT, video, demos) and deliver trainings
- Manage technical documentation
- Record inspections, fault analyses, and consultations in CRM; report technical product issues
- Occasional travel as needed
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Master's degree in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with Motion Control, PLC, Servo, Drive, or Industrial Automation products
- Experience with brands such as Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, Beckhoff or equivalents
- Strong hands-on experience with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, CANopen, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, OPC UA, MQTT)
- Experience with industrial field devices and sensors (encoders, vision systems, temperature controllers, power meters)
- Proven commissioning, diagnostics, and troubleshooting in multi-vendor environments
- Experience coordinating across R&D, sales, customers, and service teams
- Fluent English; additional European languages advantageous
- Commitment to quality; strong organization, planning/analytical, and presentation skills
