Overview
Senior Auditor for Medtronic's Corporate Audit team. You will lead and execute audit engagements with a risk-based mindset, partnering with stakeholders globally to add value beyond compliance. You’ll manage audits end-to-end, coach junior staff, and communicate findings clearly to leadership. The role combines hands-on audit work with advisory input to strengthen internal controls and business processes. Verantwoordelijkheden
- Lead and execute audit engagements across the full audit lifecycle following standards and internal methodologies; apply risk-based planning and execution
- Independently perform audit work while supervising other auditors; identify control gaps, root causes, and deliver practical recommendations
- Coordinate audit activities, manage timelines, and communicate progress, risks, and issues to audit leadership; apply SOX 404 knowledge
- Plan and lead audit-related meetings (kick-off, status, closing, issue discussions) and produce clear audit deliverables
- Build trusted relationships with management and control owners; influence outcomes through objective analysis and cross-functional collaboration
- Coach and develop auditors on methodology, tools, and processes; contribute to audit quality and capability
- Ensure documentation is complete and compliant; manage multiple engagements with proactive risk anticipation and quality results
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 5–7 years of experience in audit, finance, internal controls, or related fields
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment
- Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, CMA, or MBA (advantageous)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Experience with SAP (advantageous) and US GAAP (advantageous)
- Willingness to travel 20–40% (domestic and international)
- Multilingual ability is a plus
