In this role you will act as a global finance subject matter expert to standardise and improve Service & Repair accounting processes. You will connect SAP and data capabilities with business operations to simplify processes, strengthen controls, and improve data quality. You’ll drive harmonisation across regions and lead automation and continuous-improvement initiatives in a complex global environment. You will work with Finance, IT, Operations and cross-functional partners to deliver practical, sustainable solutions with measurable impact. Verantwoordelijkheden
- Serve as global subject matter expert for Service & Repair accounting processes (service orders, repairs, parts and inventory, revenue and costs, warranty, intercompany activities, accruals, month-end close)
- Analyse end-to-end finance processes and SAP transaction flows to identify gaps, manual activities, data-quality issues and improvement opportunities
- Translate requirements into process designs, functional specs, testing scenarios, procedures and control documentation
- Lead or support SAP improvements (master data, automated postings, account determination, workflows, interfaces, reporting, exception handling)
- Harmonise accounting processes across regions while balancing global standards with local requirements
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, IT, Operations and Global Process Owners to implement practical, compliant solutions
- Improve month-end and year-end processes by reducing manual work, strengthening reconciliations and addressing recurring issues via root-cause analyses
- Establish process governance, performance metrics, management reporting and opportunities for further standardisation and automation
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, controllership, finance transformation or process improvement
- Strong knowledge of accounting processes within an ERP environment, preferably SAP (GL, automated postings, account determination, reconciliations, financial reporting)
- Solid understanding of service operations and transaction-intensive business models (service, repairs, aftermarket, field service, inventory, warranty)
- Proven ability to lead or contribute to global process harmonisation, finance transformation, automation or continuous-improvement initiatives
- Strong process analysis and problem-solving skills, including documenting processes, defining requirements and root-cause analysis
- Understanding of financial controls, compliance, and impact of process/system changes on reporting
- Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large/complex data sets
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills across functions, regions and levels in a global matrix
