Overview
In this Tax Manager role you shape Damen’s global tax position at a strategic and hands-on level. You will guide policy, compliance and decision-making across an international organization as part of a small tax team led by the Head of Tax. The role centers on complex international tax matters with ample room for personal and professional growth. You will work closely with Finance, Legal and business units to implement a robust Tax Control Framework and support business decisions.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Own and implement key direct tax areas (global transfer pricing, Pillar Two, Dutch tax accounting and compliance)
- Provide direct tax advisory for the global Damen organization
- Support tax aspects of M&A and corporate restructurings
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders across Finance, Legal and business units
- Collaborate with external advisors and tax authorities worldwide
- Lead medium-sized tax projects from design through implementation
- Co-develop the tax strategy with the Head of Tax
- Provide hands-on tax advice to support business decisions in a dynamic international environment
Belangrijkste vereisten
- University degree in Tax Law or Tax Economics
- At least 5 years of experience in tax advisory and/or in-house tax role
- Member of the Dutch Association of Tax Practitioners (NOB)
- Fluent in English and Dutch (spoken and written)
- Ambitious and proactive with a view to becoming Head of Tax
