Overview
As a Design Engineer at DeRegt Cables, you develop and qualify custom cable systems for offshore, marine, and defense use. You collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet customer specifications and standards, guiding products from concept to qualification. You will interact with customers as the technical point of contact and support production with robust technical input. This role offers exposure to high-complexity projects across energy, deep-sea, and defense domains and the opportunity to shape reliable, market-ready cable solutions.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Design custom-built cable systems based on customer specifications
- Ensure compliance with electrical and technical standards during design
- Act as technical point of contact for customers and provide status updates
- Provide technical support to production on designed products
- Monitor project planning and budget, discuss deviations with the manager
- Work across diverse projects from offshore energy to deep sea and defense applications
Belangrijkste vereisten
- HBO or WO degree in Electrical Engineering
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Structured working approach with strong analytical and independent problem-solving skills
- Experience in product development processes and knowledge of cable technology is a strong advantage (not required)
