Overview
In this role you will own EHS/HSSE across a highly complex semiconductor project, implementing policies and managing risks on‑site. You will shape the project’s health, safety and environmental performance in a multinational EPC/EPCM context, working with authorities, suppliers, and partners. You will lead training, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement to meet client and company standards. Verantwoordelijkheden
- Own and oversee occupational health and safety (EHS/HSSE) for a complex semiconductor plant project
- Implement and monitor EHS/HSSE policies per regulations and standards
- Identify and manage environment, health, and safety risks
- Establish EHS/HSSE management systems per guidelines and client requirements
- Deliver training and awareness programs for internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor and report EHS/HSSE performance; drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with authorities, suppliers, and internal teams to achieve objectives
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Several years (3–5+) of project experience on large-scale construction or industrial projects; EPC/EPCM familiarity
- Experience or familiarity with Hazid/Hazop analyses and workshop facilitation (advantage)
- Proven leadership of internal and external teams; strong communication and collaboration skills
- Fluent English; German/Flemish/French a strong advantage
- Full flexibility to travel and work on international construction sites in Germany and Europe
- Technical training in construction or building services engineering, or comparable occupational safety qualifications (e.g., Safety Specialist, Health & Safety Coordinator)
