In this role you drive the integration of AI within RAMS and Systems Engineering at Philips. You will identify AI use cases across requirements, architecture, modelling, verification, and knowledge management, helping teams adopt AI-enabled workflows. You act as a thought leader, bridging engineering challenges with AI capabilities to deliver measurable value. You contribute to methodologies, pilot projects, and a Philips-wide AI-enabled Systems Engineering strategy. You will collaborate across disciplines to advance digital engineering and RAMS practices.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Drive adoption of AI within Systems Engineering and RAMS practices across Philips
- Identify, develop, and scale AI use cases for requirements, architecture, modelling, verification, validation, traceability, and knowledge management
- Identify, develop, and scale AI use cases for RAMS engineering (FMEA, data analysis, HALT/ALT, modelling, simulation & analysis) for hardware and software
- Support engineering teams in evaluating and implementing AI-enabled workflows, methods, and tools
- Coach and educate systems engineers, RAMS engineers, architects, and technical leaders on AI opportunities, limitations, and best practices
- Develop methodologies, standards, guidance, and reusable frameworks for AI in Systems Engineering and RAMS
- Lead pilot projects and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate engineering and business value
- Collaborate with engineering, software, data science, and AI experts to translate AI capabilities into practical solutions
- Contribute to Philips-wide AI-enabled Systems Engineering, RAMS, and Digitalization strategy and roadmap
- Foster a community of practice focused on innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement
- Stay at the forefront of AI, RAMS, Digital Engineering, and Systems Engineering developments and translate into practical applications
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Extensive experience in Systems Engineering, Systems Architecture, RAMS, or Digital Engineering in complex product development
- Proven track record in engineering innovation, methodology development, or transformation initiatives
- Strong knowledge of Systems Engineering and RAMS principles in large-scale product development
- Solid understanding of AI technologies (Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI, ML, Knowledge Graphs) and their practical application
- Ability to translate AI capabilities into measurable value for engineering teams
- Experience coaching and influencing technical stakeholders across disciplines and levels
- Comfort working in a cross-functional, global environment
- Master's degree in Systems Engineering (as stated) or PhD as alternative
