As an HSE Specialist at ABB’s Ede site, you will drive a safe, healthy, and sustainable working environment. You will coach colleagues, lead compliance and audits, and support shop-floor safety initiatives. Your work blends strategic insight with hands-on execution to raise awareness and deliver continuous improvements in health, safety, and environmental performance. You’ll collaborate across production, sales, and leadership to embed strong HSE practices and sustainability initiatives.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Drive behavioral change and raise awareness on HSE topics
- Ensure compliance with legislation, policies, procedures, and certifications
- Implement new legislation, directives, and HSE initiatives
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits, inspections, and compliance reviews
- Develop, maintain, and improve HSE procedures, work instructions, and reporting
- Investigate incidents and initiate corrective and preventive actions
- Ensure availability of safety equipment, tools, and PPE
- Support HSE activities in manufacturing and commercial areas (including Sales)
- Collaborate with national and international stakeholders to strengthen ABB’s HSE culture
- Initiate and support sustainability and circularity projects
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Bachelor's degree level (HBO)
- Higher Safety Management (HVK) qualification
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Experience with ISO certifications and management systems
- Extensive experience in manufacturing or industrial environment
- Knowledge of electrical engineering and NEN3140 is advantageous
- Ability to translate legislation into concrete actions and implementation plans
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

- Excellent command of Dutch and English (written and spoken)
