Overview
As Sr Operations Manager at Picnic, you own the KPI-driven value stream and lead multiple teams across shifts to deliver safety, quality, and efficiency. You partner with site leadership to translate site goals into daily actions, developing operational leaders and building a scalable, high-performing operation. You’ll tackle end-to-end process improvements in a complex, automated fulfilment environment and drive a culture of operational excellence. This role offers impact through shaping how we operate at a high-volume site and collaborating across functions.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Own the long-term performance and KPI roadmap for your value stream, driving safety, quality, and efficiency improvements
- Lead daily operations through supervisors, strengthening indirect leadership and achieving targets
- Analyze workflows to identify bottlenecks and implement efficiency, flow, and reliability improvements
- Lead daily Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives to embed operational excellence
- Maintain 5S standards and ensure clean, organized, and safe work environments
- Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, planning, analysts, and last-mile teams to ensure seamless end-to-end operations
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 5+ years of leadership experience in warehouse or automated operations
- Hands-on experience in automated or semi-automated fulfilment environments
- Lean and continuous improvement experience in complex operations
- Experience managing high-volume, high-SKU workflows
- Proven ability to lead teams of leaders and drive results
- Strong analytical skills with Tableau and Excel
- Willingness to occasionally work shifts to support the operation
- Fluency in English and Dutch
