Overview
In this role you will lead place-based community development strategies for Google’s Netherlands data centers, partnering with municipalities, associations, and other stakeholders. You will scale sub-regional engagement, translate research into actionable development plans, and create locally focused investment programs. You will build internal relationships across teams to support infrastructure growth and community impact, delivering measurable social value. This is a mission-driven role at the intersection of external affairs, civic impact, and data-driven strategy.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Lead national and sub-regional community development strategies and investments
- Engage with key opinion formers, municipalities, associations, and non-profits
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research into location-specific plans
- Develop communication tools to educate local communities about data centers and investment plans
- Build and maintain internal stakeholder relationships (Energy, Government Affairs, Public Policy, Operations, Marketing, local data center teams)
- Drive place-based partnerships and public-private collaborations to enable infrastructure growth
- Provide data-driven insights to inform market opportunities and risk mitigation
- Support scalable, hyperlocal community impact and workforce development initiatives
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of program or project management experience
- Experience working with local municipalities, associations, KOFs, non-profits, education institutions, and community members
- Ability to travel 25% of the time
- Proven relationship-building and stakeholder management
