Overview
In this role you will lead the FP&A function for the group, owning budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting to inform strategic decisions. You will develop and maintain group-wide financial models and provide insights to operations and senior leadership to drive cost improvements. You will ensure compliance with reporting standards and support the CFO and senior management with high-quality financial analysis. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that shapes financial strategy in a mining context.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Own group budgeting and forecasting processes
- Coordinate monthly/quarterly management reporting and annual budget cycles
- Develop and interpret financial data with operations to identify cost improvements
- Maintain group strategic financial models and mining valuation & impairment models
- Support controlling function with BAs and site finance managers
- Provide specialized variance analysis and interpretation for mining/refining site results
- Lead ad-hoc financial analysis for CFO and NMC
- Oversee group-wide business analysis and ensure reporting standards compliance
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
- 10–15 years of experience in a financial/analytical role
- Mining or metal smelting experience highly desirable
- Excellent English communication skills
- Numerically minded with strong data handling capability
