Overview
As Staff Officer, you analyze and synthesize technological threat data to map trends and inform Force Protection. You work with NATO and JFCBS partners to identify gaps in C-UxS/C-IED capabilities and propose mitigation. You will monitor emerging tech and support risk assessments to shape multi-domain responses. This role supports NATO 2030 objectives through technical interoperability and collaboration with international stakeholders.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Collect and fuse reports from NATO HQs and JFCBS to analyze hybrid and C-UxS/C-IED TTPs
- Create a blue picture of C-ET capabilities and identify capability gaps
- Monitor evolving technologies and their impact on Force Protection
- Support risk management cycles and propose mitigating measures against hybrid threats
- Represent JFCBS in Working Groups, Workshops, and Exercises (including TIEs)
- Represent the section in NSIP and Joint Requirements Review Board processes
- Propose or support projects as SME in technological developments countering emerging threats (IoT)
- Lead and coordinate Technical Exploitation for JFCBS with Nations and Allied commands
Belangrijkste vereisten
- English proficiency at NATO STANAG 6001 level 3333
- University Degree or equivalent in related field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with unmanned systems/technical exploitation
- Knowledge of technology and equipment for detecting, tracking, and mitigating hybrid/emerging threats
- Minimum 2 years’ experience implementing new technologies to counter threats
- Good communication, both oral and written
- Interpersonal skills with tact and diplomacy
- Collaborative with stakeholders
- Unmanned systems (UxS) knowledge
- Technical exploitation experience
- Awareness of new technologies impacting Force Protection
