Overview
As VP Marketplace you will drive the international growth strategy across RB Global’s marketplace portfolio, guiding how Auctions, Mascus, MPE, Rouse, and Retail scale profitability and customer experience. You’ll align regional plans with global objectives, foster cross-functional collaboration, and steer market expansion and partnerships. The role focuses on delivering measurable growth, improved journeys, and competitive differentiation at scale. You’ll lead a leadership team to execute bold, data-driven initiatives that transform marketplaces.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Develop and execute the International Marketplace Growth Strategy aligned with corporate objectives
- Define long-term priorities and growth initiatives for all marketplace businesses
- Identify trends, customer behaviours, and competitive developments to guide strategy
- Evaluate new business opportunities, market expansion, and strategic partnerships
- Establish strategic priorities and performance expectations (pricing, service, value proposition) across all marketplaces
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight to Auction Marketplace, Mascus, MPE, Rouse, and Retail marketplace initiatives
- Drive go-to-market strategies to expand participation, engagement, and profitability for each marketplace
- Lead customer experience initiatives to ensure consistency with corporate standards
- Identify growth opportunities in existing and emerging markets and develop partnerships
- Collaborate with Marketing to build brand, demand generation, and ROI across marketplaces
- Define product priorities with Head of Product, International; drive digital transformation and platform enhancements
- Own marketplace growth performance including revenue, profitability, and market share
- Manage stakeholder expectations with Country Managers, Commercial, Product, Technology, Finance, and People teams
- Build and mentor a high-performing leadership team; foster innovation and accountability
- Monitor financial performance and ensure efficient use of resources
- Represent International marketplace interests in executive forums
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 10+ years in senior commercial, marketplace, digital platform, or general management roles
- Proven experience leading multi-market or international units
- Strong background in marketplace, e-commerce, digital platforms, or auctions
- Track record of driving growth, profitability, and customer experience improvements
- Experience leading senior leaders within a matrix organization
