As Lead Engineer, you steer the technical engineering scope of projects within Mammoet’s global, multidisciplinary team. You apply advanced technical knowledge and leadership to ensure robust engineering solutions for heavy lift initiatives. You collaborate with clients and internal teams to align scopes, plan effectively, and overcome project challenges. The role offers international exposure, cross-site coordination, and the chance to shape engineering practices on local, regional, and global projects.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Lead the technical engineering scope of projects
- Check and approve engineering documents; verify methods and equipment
- Liaise with internal and external clients to meet requirements
- Coordinate planning, organization and implementation
- Develop smart solutions to overcome project challenges
- Ensure alignment of all engineering scopes and inter-scope relationships
- Travel regularly to the head office in Schiedam to collaborate with the engineering team
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering
- 8 years of broad and deep engineering experience in heavy lift, including international project sites
- Advanced understanding of heavy lift equipment (SPMTs, jacking, skidding, gantry systems)
- Project management experience or mindset with open, communicative approach
- Strong written and spoken English
- Willingness to travel as required by projects
- AutoCAD, FEM Software, and Microsoft Office proficiency
