In this role you strengthen and modernize CM.com’s financial processes with a focus on external reporting and technical accounting. You translate complex accounting rules into practical guidance for decision-making, collaborating across finance and business units. You drive AI-driven improvements to make processes faster and more reliable. You operate in a global, matrix organization and contribute to governance, sustainability, and strategic communications. Verantwoordelijkheden
- Apply IFRS and Dutch GAAP standards, including preparing technical accounting position papers
- Prepare internal and external financial reports beyond statutory statements (sustainability, remuneration reporting, quarterly press releases)
- Coordinate audits with external auditors domestically and internationally
- Perform financial analysis and controls during month-end and year-end closings
- Identify and implement AI and automation opportunities to improve processes
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Master’s degree in Accountancy or Finance; RA/CPA is a plus
- Several years of big 4 experience in Accountancy
- Strong technical accounting knowledge (Dutch GAAP, IFRS) with audit experience; advanced Excel skills; BI tools a plus
- Proactive, analytical, hands-on mindset with ability to communicate across levels
- Strong interest in automation and AI; willingness to develop technology-enabled finance processes
- Proficiency in English and Dutch; experience in internationally operating organization a plus
