In this role you lead advanced power system studies within a cross-border team, delivering high-quality analysis for grid reliability, renewables integration, and grid code compliance. You will shape technical directions, mentor colleagues, and support business development with proposals and customer engagement. You work across national and international projects, applying state-of-the-art simulation tools to solve complex power grid challenges. Verantwoordelijkheden
- Conduct grid modeling, simulations, and power system studies to analyze grid behavior
- Investigate renewables and storage integration, grid code compliance, and power quality topics
- Model and assess grid dynamics for voltage, frequency control, and stability
- Perform site visits, test witnessing, and validation of studies
- Develop, review, and process technical documentation and reports
- Contribute to technical reports and commercial proposals
- Present findings to customers and team members
- Manage project work within budget and timeline constraints
Belangrijkste vereisten
- MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Systems Studies
- Hands-on experience with advanced grid simulation tools (PSSE, PowerFactory, PSCAD, ETAP, CDEGS, ATP)
- Python programming proficiency
- Strong communication in English; Dutch a plus
- Experience in customer engagement, project coordination, and multi-priority management
