Overview
In this role you will assess rotor structural design and verification methods for PM shaft generators used in marine applications. You’ll identify improvements to FEM-based analyses to strengthen long-term reliability, and provide technical guidance to support design decisions. You’ll engage with engineering teams and stakeholders to troubleshoot structural or vibration-related issues. This is a high-impact, client-facing consulting position within a global industrial manufacturer context.

- Review technical reports and design verification results focused on rotor structural design
- Assess validity of calculation methods, FEM-based analyses, and evaluation criteria
- Recommend additional verification items and validation methods
- Provide technical consultation to support design improvements and reliability
- Support root-cause analysis for structural or vibration issues
- Offer clear technical guidance to support engineering decisions
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on rotor mechanical structural design and development
- Strong experience in structural design, structural strength evaluation, and fatigue assessment
- Able to lead technical discussions and consulting activities in English
