In this role you provide day-to-day technical leadership for a software team delivering smart, reliable software for high-tech machines. You bridge the team, the Development Center Manager, and customers to ensure aligned, high-quality delivery. You will shape requirements, architecture, and the development environment while mitigating risks. This position combines hands-on software contribution with leadership in an ambitious, collaborative setting that values sustainable, impactful solutions. Verantwoordelijkheden
- Provide technical leadership and support to the software team and foster collaboration
- Facilitate Scrum activities (planning, reviews, demos) and manage related admin
- Safeguard and evolve technical content (requirements, design, architecture, implementation decisions)
- Set up and improve software development environment (CI/CD, build automation, configuration management)
- Communicate with customers and Development Center Manager
- Monitor progress, quality, risks, and technical coherence; initiate corrective actions
- Contribute to software development as a senior software engineer when appropriate
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 10+ years of (embedded) software development experience
- Experience leading, coaching, or technically guiding a software team
- Proven knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Experience with software design and architecture and development practices (CI/CD, build automation, configuration management)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Affinity with C, C++, C#, and/or Python on Linux or Windows
- Knowledge of UML, Design Patterns, CAFCR, and CI/CD practices
