Overview
In this role, you will be the first dedicated security engineer within Vinted's IT organization, aligning security practices with what the company builds. You’ll own security for both hardware and software across the IT estate, from devices to identity and SaaS systems. You’ll work with cross-functional IT teams and shape a security engineering capability that scales with the business. You’ll drive risk-based decisions and implement security as a product used by the workforce.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Own the IT security roadmap end-to-end, modeling threats and driving risk closure
- Advocate for secure practices to raise security fluency across IT engineers
- Ensure devices are trusted by default with hardened baselines and least privilege
- Secure workforce identity, access controls, and time-bound contractor access
- Secure SaaS and business-application estate through configuration baselines and API governance
- Secure the network and hardware in physical sites, including warehouses and verification centres
- Engineer security into IT builds through automation and resilient tooling
- Build compliance as code and maintain risk governance evidence
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Deep hands-on experience securing a corporate IT estate at scale
- Engineering mindset with automation, scripting (Python, Go) and IaC
- Ability to build a security practice from scratch within IT or infrastructure
- Comfort securing IT/OT boundary including physical sites
- Evidence-based, risk-focused communication to senior audiences
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Advantage: experience with Okta, Jamf, Google Workspace, Atlassian, Workato; hardware security depth; offensive security or ISO/NIS2 experience
