Overview
In this role you will lead global technology sourcing initiatives to deliver innovative, high-impact contracts and supplier partnerships. You’ll work within a newly formed, high-performing procurement team reporting to the Head of Group Technology Procurement, shaping sourcing strategies and managing complex negotiations. You will drive Source-to-Contract processes, oversee RFXs, and ensure compliant, value-driven outcomes across regions. This is a chance to influence ING’s technology procurement at scale and embed category management practices across locations.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Lead global sourcing execution across the Technology category and manage strategic contracts
- Develop and execute complex sourcing initiatives and projects, communicating with senior stakeholders
- Coach buyers on negotiation, analysis and deal-making; lead cross-functional teams across regions
- Provide input to category managers for business partnering, category strategies, and supplier segmentation
- Oversee RFX process, prepare documentation, train suppliers, consolidate responses and drive contract negotiations
- Conduct supplier onboarding, vendor master data approvals, and onboarding content creation
- Perform supplier performance and quality assessments; manage supplier dialogues and risk/compliance
- Drive transition from business-partner model to category-focused approach across locations
Belangrijkste vereisten
- >6 years in Procurement at tactical/strategic level in an international financial services provider
- >2 years actively coaching procurement colleagues
- >5 years in strategic and complex contract sourcing, project management, negotiations, transformation and migration in Technology
- Experience leading large-scale procurement programs for a bank with scope, budget, and timeline accountability
- Deep understanding of banking industry, procurement processes, regulatory/compliance requirements
- Proven track record in delivering Procurement Value and in leadership/transformation
