Overview
In this role you lead regional service operations to ensure safe, compliant delivery of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) services under LTSA. You coach Service O&M Supervisors, manage warranties and subcontractors, and act as the main customer interface, driving performance and continuous improvement. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth handovers, operational readiness, and alignment with contractual and safety standards. This position offers impact through optimizing regional service delivery and expanding customer satisfaction within Fluence’s mission to transform energy systems.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Lead and develop Service O&M Supervisors to ensure safe, high-quality service across sites
- Own LTSA execution, aligning scope, performance obligations, and commercial terms
- Serve as primary customer interface for service operations, managing expectations and escalations
- Drive regional KPIs (availability, safety, digital/AI service tools usage) with robust RCA for issues
- Plan regional operations, allocate resources, and coordinate activities to boost efficiency
- Manage warranty obligations and complex warranty topics with extensions and resolutions
- Lead subcontractor selection, onboarding, RFQs, and contract negotiations
- Oversee subcontractor performance with adherence to contracts, SLAs, KPIs, and safety
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety across all countries of operation
- Take commercial ownership of service delivery, quoting, billing, and upsell support
- Resolve complex customer/subcontractor issues using LTSA and O&M clauses
- Collaborate with Delivery, Sales, OEMs, and customers for smooth project handovers
- Support regional service strategy, cost control, and continuous improvement
- Escalate, prioritize, and resolve operational issues via ticketing and incident tools
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Bachelor degree with 7+ years relevant experience or Master with 5+ years
- Experience leading regional or multi-site service/O&M teams
- Experience managing LTSA/O&M contracts for complex assets
- Strong commercial/financial understanding including cost control and warranty management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management, customer-facing leadership
- Fluency in English
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally
