Overview
In this role you guide the Internal Developer Platform to reduce SDLC friction and automate workflows, enabling Adyen engineers to move faster with reliability. You will own the product lifecycle, align governance with developer needs, and partner with engineering to bridge AI capabilities with complex architecture. The role focuses on scaling the platform to support a global engineering footprint while maintaining security and compliance. You’ll contribute to a resilient, automated ecosystem that minimizes toil and maximizes developer velocity.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Optimize the SDLC to reduce friction and toil, enabling automated golden paths
- Drive product maturity through lifecycle management, deprecations, and adoption/value strategies
- Build technical context by aligning AI models and platform tooling (AGENTS.md, RAG pipelines, MCP servers) with Adyen’s architecture
- Foster developer autonomy by creating LEGO-block abstractions that balance pipelines ownership with guardrails
- Validate ROI and manage vendors via data-driven adoption metrics (DXI, Change Failure Rate, developer velocity)
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 10+ years of product experience in Platform Engineering, DevEx, or AI-enabled technical products
- Technically credible with ability to discuss system architecture and CI/CD constraints
- Strong change management skills and experience influencing developer behavior
- Data-driven mindset translating feedback and usage data into impact metrics
