Overview
In this role you will own the security of Flexport’s corporate environment, spanning endpoints, identity systems, networks, and the SaaS estate. You’ll build and automate security controls, lead incident response, and drive a zero-trust strategy at scale. You’ll collaborate with IT, Engineering, and People teams to embed security without friction and improve our security posture across a global footprint. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on real-world impact and automation.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Own and mature endpoint security (EDR) across macOS and Windows with policy-as-code
- Secure and monitor critical SaaS apps (Google Workspace, Slack) via SSPM tooling
- Drive identity posture: SSO, MFA, passkeys, SCIM automation, least-privilege
- Lead zero-trust journey with correct access and controls
- Build and tune SIEM detections; lead incident response and post-incident retrospectives
- Perform regular endpoint risk assessments and manage third-party security reviews
- Partner across IT, Engineering and People to embed security and develop runbooks and playbooks
- Consider agentic AI tools and browser-based assistants in security strategy
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 5–8 years in enterprise security or related field
- Strong knowledge of endpoint security tooling (DLP like Cyberhaven/Purview/Varonis; EDR like CrowdStrike/SentinelOne)
- Practical SIEM experience, detection logic, triage, reducing false positives
- Experience leading or significant role in security incident response
- Working knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
